Conditions of participation and insurance - drift training

  • Every participant in a drift training on the Sachsenring has to have a valid driving licence.
  • Participants may also use their own cars for drift training. In wintry conditions, the cars have to be equipped with winter tyres. If desired, we will be pleased to organise rental cars for you at the current rates.
  • Drivers may be accompanied by other persons. The Sachsenring Road Safety Training Centre will not take out any accident insurance for passengers. During driving safety training, accompanying persons are not permitted to drive a car themselves on the grounds of the Sachsenring Road Safety Training Centre.
  • Orders given by the instructors of the Sachsenring Road Safety Training Centre have to be obeyed. Repeated gross violation of orders given by the instructors may lead to the exclusion of the respective person from further training. Moreover, the excluded person will have no claim whatsoever to demand repayment of the course fee. In such a situation the Sachsenring Road Safety Training Centre will also accept no liability for any resulting damage.
  • The organiser or instructor can cancel, stop or postpone the training if
    • less than 8 participants have been registered, or
    • weather conditions do not permit the training without endangering the participants or the cars used, or
    • technical reasons make an unhindered training impossible.
  • If the training is cancelled or postponed, participants may ask for either repayment of training fees already paid or a substitute date.
  • The rules of the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO) and the Regulations governing the suitability of vehicles for road traffic (StVZO) are in force everywhere on the grounds of the Sachsenring Road Safety Training Centre.
