Rallye training

Your fascination for rally sports: fast starts, spectacular drifts, total car control.

Your dream: Be the one to prove their skills and nerve when moving a car far away from the “usual paths”.

We have just the thing to let your dream come true: the rally driver trainings with drift & drive – the rally school run by Uwe Nittel.
On the Sachsenring, drift & drive employs true professionals: Uwe Nittel, Vice-Champion in the Rally World Campionship, with more than 10 years of rally experience and several times winner of World Championship and German Championship races;
Ruben Zeltner, Managing Director of the Sachsenring Road Safety Training Centre, an active and successful rally pilot with years of experience;
Hermann Gassner, several times Champion in German rally racing and owner of a rental agency for rally cars that are built and looked after by his team. He also takes care of the technical side of the rally cars used in Step 2 of the training programme.

The Sachsenring is the ideal location for such trainings, particularly because of the optimal road conditions with floodable drift and handling courses and demanding training tracks for extreme driving situations. Browse through our Rally Gallery to develop a taste for this training programme!

Currently two programmes are offered:

Rallye training

STEP 1 - the one-day basic training

One-day driving course with the participants’ own cars as a “starter” for drivers without any previous rally training on the Sachsenring.

Duration: 1 day, from 10 am to about 7.15 pm

Preconditions: a lot of driving experience and a feeling for driving a car close to its limit. A previous driving safety training is very helpful in finding out about one’s own limits.

Rallye training

STEP 2 - the one-days extension training

This top rally training with four-wheel-drive rally cars provided by Hermann Gassner, various times winner of the German Rallye Championship.

Duration: 1 1/4 days: 1st day from 8.30 pm to 10.00 pm,
2nd day from 9.30 am to about 5.00 pm.

Precondition: participation in the STEP 1 basic training
